My name's Marie and I'm a 27 year old student of History and Web Design from Georgia. I've been writing fanfiction since elementary school if we want to get literal, lol, since I used to make picture books for story time. But, seriously, been writing stories since about 14, starting with Sailor Moon and gradually moving through several fandoms. (Wedding Peach, Power Rangers, X-men, Anita Blake, Labyrinth...) and been writing exclusively Buffy/Spike for the last few years. Recently, I decided to try my hand at harry potter. I'm a fan of Hermione, my favourite character, with Luna as a close second. I prefer Hermione with a Malfoy but for some reason find myself reading fics with her and Sirius, so might try my hand at that. Also maybe one day Remus or Bill or something. My only pet peeve is how almost everyone uses pics of teenage Hermione and tries to use them in adult context with adult characters. I prefer to just use pictures of what I think she'd look like as an adult - same for every other character. I don't care for her with Ron or Harry, kind of like kissing your brother and all. I always write NC-17 now as an adult as I pretty much only read that, too. I'm an adult and I like adult things, hehe. That and if I read a story where they don't "get it on" I just get frustrated :P I read paranormal romance novels, vampire ones mostly or with vampire-like creatures such as Christine Feehan's Carpathian series. I also LOVE the Anita Blake series. It's odd that I like Harry Potter then seeing as it's a "kids" book, lol, but I'm addicted to it, damn it's insidious attraction. I intend on writing paranormal romances someday and have started on it some. Now, if I could tear myself away from fanfiction enough to finish a book! lol |
