Hi, I'm Amanda and I'm twenty years old. Writing takes work. It takes effort, time, and a conscience understanding that the writer is basically putting themselves out in the world to either be praised or snickered at. To put yourself out there, to let yourself become a person willingly able to be put down or brought up takes a lot of courage. We may not all be great writers, but hey, at least we would'a made it into Gryffindor!

Personally, I want to be able to write a book that people say, "That was so good, I want to read it again," after finishing it. At my age and situation, it's rare, but I'd still like to believe it's something that could happen for me.
