Oh man, what a bummer to be surround by so many dead friends and such.  Why didn't she try to heal herself?  Is she hoping to go to an earlier time before the carnage to get the medical care?

I'm wondering if the description of him being a prince is his take on his life at the orphanage, and he is waiting to be rescued.

Seeing as you have made mention that this story is complete on fanfiction.net, and you haven't updated here since October 10, 2007, I think that I'll head on over to FF.N to read it in its entirety.
