Thank you for another great chapter. We understand that you have much to do. I am impressed that you keep up with Uni and still find time to write as well.
I noticed in the story that Hermione, Draco, and Nate could not keep their thoughts from straying. And "poor Hermione" having to spend the next few weeks with each of them individually on a project. I feel for her. Really. I just wish it was me in such a predicament.

A working process but coming on well. I do have a few questions that could help your story though. Constructive ofcourse!
If Nate is a muggleborn Slytherin, and he has only just got his wand, how the heck is he going to keep up with people his age who have been learning magic for 6 years?
Draco tells Nate basic facts about how 'the wand chooses the wizard'. So Draco must know that he is muggleborn. Pureblood or even halfbloods are told they are magical from an early age, so maybe you should have sopme sort of thought track about Draco realising he has befriended a mudblood. If he can become friends with him, there must be something there for him and Hermione too, see? :)
That's all really, just about Nates past so it's plausable. Know what I mean? :D
Also, looks like Nate will be tying to become friends with Hermione first...I'm sure her bodyguards (AKA Won won and Harry;)) aren't going to like that. ;D

Basically the next several chapters will be covering just the first day of classes, so all explanations concerning Nate will have to wait until he talks to Dumbledore around chapters 9 or 10.
Nate's background will be explained...later. That is all I wil say about the first two questions above. You just have to trust me. Not everything is as it seems.
Haha ah yes, Ron and Harry will definitely be included in this story, don't worry. I hate how Hermione drifts apart from her two best friends in some fanfictions so she will definitely be close to all of her Gryffindor friends in this fic.
