Just revisiting this story *again*, so beautifully written, so powerfully done. I'd recommended it recently to someone also writing a story dealing with the aftermath of torture, and felt compelled to read it one more time.

I think one of the best things I like about this story is that the details of Hermione's torture aren't clear. In her own thoughts, she hints at them, so we all know what she went through, but we don't know exactly. Does that make sense? This is a torture recovery story that I find is tastefully done. Mostly its, scream for two chapters, have smex, and bam, happily ever after. Your pacing makes it clear it won't be the same. I just want to somehow appear (maybe magically?) in the story and hug Hermione and tell her its all right. I can really feel Sirius' support, and his calm presence, as well as a sense of his own haunted past. I also like how Harry and Ginny really try their best, but unwittingly just make things worse. Your story is extraordinary, and I can't wait for the next update. Brilliant!

Gah! Sorry it took me so long to review. RL's been kicking my butt lately. Another amazing chapter :D Kids have that effect on people, and I was thrilled that Remus made an appearance. Of all the characters that bit the big one in DH, I was the most upset about him. Looking forward to an update!

This chapter made me giggle a few times. It was so light and airy. The exuberance of Teddy is refreshing. I think the light of a child can heal even the ost damaged people.

I am so happy to see the update, I am so hooked on this story, wanting for Hermione to have a future and heal some of her pain. Teddy is adorable, you did a grand job with him, and for all that Remus didn't know what to say, he did the rigth thing; he didn't try to fawn all over her, but let her have some distance and his words were perfect in my view. Sirius does of course get a large amount of stars for being Sirius, bringing her the clothes gave him a very large star in my book.

That was a lovely afternoon. I'm glad Teddy, Remus and Sirius were there. I hope The Lupins can keep Hermione's presence at Grimmauld to themselves. I think she definitely needs more time. And Molly will certainly smother her if she knows where to find her.
